HI!. I am Sandra Mizell, owner of Texperience BNB. My husband, Les, and I have been married for over 34 years and have raised 12 kids of our own. During that time we hosted lots of parties and entertained countless guests. Now that the kids are growing up and leaving, it’s a natural transition to open our home as a B-n-B. This involved redesigning our home into the beautifully arranged Inn that it became, complete with a separate entrance and sleeping area where guests can visit and stay in their own private, comfortable rooms while under the same roof where we live. While here, you can enjoy the secluded 1300 sq.ft. deck designed for privacy and comfort. This includes a custom patio cover and seating arrangements, as well as a swinging bed,
What makes Texperience unique? To sum it up, you’ll find nothing pretentious in our place. It’s not loaded with useless décor and you won’t find those metal “Texas Stars” freshly imported from China. What you will find is a clean, comfortable place to stay and people who care about your visit. We don’t have matching china or matching dining chairs. With a house of 12 kids we learned to make-do with what we had. They say necessity is the mother of invention, and so it was as our family found solutions to the needs, it built a feeling of closeness and true FAMILY TIES that’ll never be broken. We’ve been told that if we could “package it” and sell it, we would be rich. Well, as each new day comes and we see our kids grow and become adults, and as we also meet new friends every day, we realize that we have what money can’t buy. We are rich, indeed. We want to share that with our guests.
